HardtHaven Children’s Home and United

Students present their videos about the Kpando, Ghana-based nonprofit organizations HardtHaven Children's Home and United -- shot on location over the summer. HardtHaven provides AIDS orphans with food, clothing, shelter, education, employment skills and a loving home. United, a sister organization, provides health education and community organizing. The screening also includes a student-produced video about SF CASA (San Francisco Court-Appointed Special Advocates), which matches volunteer advocates with foster children. The SF CASA video was produced in the spring. Faculty adviser: Betsy J. Blosser. Reception: 7pm. Free.
