His work explores the complexities of racism and serves as a point of departure for discussion about U.S. oppression and colonial attitudes abroad. It has been included in numerous museum exhibitions, including at the Laguna Art Museum, Charles Wright Museum, Bass Museum, Frederick Weisman Art Museum, Smithsonian Institution, Brooks Museum of Art, Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts and Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
