Logan is a two-time Emmy-winning writer/director and director of photography specializing in comedy, action and special visual effects. He is also a two-time winner of advertising’s most coveted award, the Golden Lion at the Cannes Film Festival, and has several Super Bowl television spots to his credit. Logan is a longtime industry professional and member of the American Society of Cinematographers, Directors Guild of America and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. As a director of photography, Logan has worked on amazing films with a variety of Hollywood legends including George Lucas, Stanley Kubrick, Jonathan Demme, Joel Schumacher, John Huston and Terry Gilliam. This event is part of the Cinema Department’s fall speaker and master-class series. Cinema students and the Bay Area community will engage expert cinematographers in rigorous discourse.
