Alumnae Maya Linke, Miriam Lewis Design American Premiere of 'Truck Stop'

BROADWAY WORLD -- Crowded Fire Theater is pleased to announce the creative team and dates for the American Premiere of “Truck Stop” by Lachlan Philpott, opening October 5 and running through October 24 at the Thick House in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill. This gut-punch of a play has a creative team that features dramaturgy by Laura Brueckner, scenic design by Maya Linke, lighting design by Andrew Lu, costume design by Miriam Lewis, with video design by Erikc Scanlon, sound design by Brendan Aanes and props design by Devon LaBelle. Linke (scenic design) won the 2012 Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Award for her set design of “Assassins” and received her Master of Fine Arts in scenic design from San Francisco State University. Lewis (costume design) received her Master of Fine Arts in theatrical design from SF State, where she now lectures in costume.
