String Quartet Music at No Cost, at SF State

SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE -- One of the great local traditions for lovers of chamber music is the Morrison Artists Series at San Francisco State University, which for decades has provided Bay Area audiences with appearances by the world’s finest chamber ensembles, absolutely free. And for nearly as long — going all the way back to 1989 — the Alexander String Quartet has anchored the series.
