SFGATE -- Researchers and unhoused people will hold an online briefing at 11 a.m. Thursday to discuss the findings of a survey of homeless people conducted by the Our City Our Home Coalition and University of California at Berkeley, San Francisco State University and Santa Clara University investigators.

Among the 600 temporarily housed San Francisco residents who were interviewed, most said they lost their most recent housing because it was unaffordable, and many said they may not have ended up homeless if they had received help paying rent.
